Measures to Support Accessibility
- The main navigation, page content and forms can be reached and used with a keyboard.
- A “Skip to content” link and page landmarks help keyboard and screen-reader users move around each page.
- Images that convey meaning have text descriptions.
- Form fields have labels and support your browser’s autofill.
- Pages use a clear heading structure.
- Text colours meet the WCAG contrast requirements against their backgrounds.
- Fade-in animations are turned off when your device’s “reduce motion” setting is on.
- The homepage background video has a play/pause button, and logo carousels pause when you hover over them.
- Links that open in a new tab are announced to screen-reader users.
Conformance Status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard.
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following and are working to address them:
- The logo carousels pause on mouse hover but do not yet have a pause button for keyboard or touch users.
- Our Patient Portal is provided by a third-party vendor, and its accessibility is outside our direct control. If you have any difficulty using it, please contact us and we will help.
